Hi, I'm Tayagorn Manorat.

BI Analyst and Analytics Engineer

I build Power BI reports, SQL models, Power Platform tools, and data pipelines for business teams in a regulated environment. Outside of work, I build personal data systems with APIs, dashboards, cloud deployment, and MCP servers that connect LLMs to live data.

About me

I'm a BI analyst working in a regulated environment, where I build Power BI reports, SQL models, Power Apps, and Power Automate workflows for business teams. The work runs from data modeling and DAX to the apps and automations built around the reporting layer.

My work is a mix of technical buildout and stakeholder support. I rebuild models, move logic into SQL, write role-based reporting patterns, automate manual workflows, and help teams agree on KPI definitions they can trust. I'm comfortable on the technical side and in front of stakeholders.

Outside of work, I build data systems on my own. My main project is an AI health coaching system that pulls wearable and nutrition data into a database, connects an LLM to it through an MCP server, and tracks trends through dashboards. I also built a prediction-market analytics project around weather contracts.

  • Built production Power BI reports, SQL models, Power Platform tools, and automated workflows for business teams in a regulated environment
  • Rebuilt a Power BI semantic model and moved report logic into SQL views, cutting refresh time from 60 to 3 minutes
  • Wrote DAX measures with CALCULATE, FILTER, ALL, ALLEXCEPT, SELECTEDVALUE, SWITCH, and VAR/RETURN to support dynamic reporting and cleaner filter logic
  • Built role-based reporting patterns in Power BI so different user groups could access the right data without maintaining separate reports
  • Designed dynamic Power BI reports where users could switch between metrics from a single control, reducing duplicate report pages and making self-service analysis easier
  • Wrote SQL transformation and validation logic to reconcile 12M+ rows across enterprise systems
  • Migrated 60,000+ legacy records into new reporting structures while validating data integrity
  • Built scheduled SQL processes to refresh KPI baselines, giving teams a consistent way to compare current and historical performance
  • Automated manual reporting, intake, and file-handling workflows with Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and Power BI Service
  • Designed SharePoint-backed data structures for Power Apps, supporting structured workflows without requiring premium connector licensing
  • Built paginated reporting and alerting workflows to standardize recurring business processes
  • Worked with operations, engineering, finance, and leadership teams to define KPIs, validate data, document processes, and deliver reporting tools people could trust

AI Health Coaching System

Personal project

Python ingestion pipelines pull from three APIs (WHOOP, FatSecret, Apple Health) into a unified 20+ table SQLite schema (1.5M+ records), handling OAuth 1.0a and 2.0 token flows including auto-rotating refresh tokens.

  • An MCP server exposes 16+ tools that give a live LLM agent access to recovery, nutrition, and body composition data
  • A versioned, append-only goals engine in SQLite with separate weekday and weekend targets powers Claude-generated morning briefs and weekly reviews, pushed to my phone through the Pushover API
  • A Grafana dashboard tracks weight, macro, and recovery trends on top of the pipeline data, giving the system a live BI layer alongside the LLM coaching interface
  • Built with Claude Code end-to-end, and designed to be model-agnostic

Polls Polymarket and Kalshi temperature contracts every 30 seconds across three cities, comparing market-implied probabilities to a prediction model that blends NWS forecasts with 10 years of NOAA climatology.

  • Runs 5 parallel paper-trading strategies with Kelly criterion sizing, each A/B tested against an independent virtual bankroll
  • Deployed via Docker Compose with PostgreSQL and a Streamlit dashboard showing live predictions and trade history
